The type of care you'll get
Ken McElynn
MD
Everything I do as a family MD at Santa Maria Holistic Care revolves around you, the patient. I will listen to you, not talk over you, simplify your medications, and definitely try not to overmedicalize you. You will get the same doctor every time, and I would be pleased to be your Virtual Primary Care physician over time.
I do have a special interest in Long COVID patients, who often have brain fog, headaches, insomnia, post-nasal drip, palpitations, and histamine skin rashes. I have helped thousands of long COVID patients get their lives back, and I can help you, too. I know the right tests and supplements to detox you from the spike protein. Let's get you going!
I am a full MD with a natural, holistic view. Let's face it. The medical profession is too dominated by the pharmaceutical industry. But not with me! In addition to being a physician for 27 years, I am a marathoner and Ironman as well. The doctor has to "walk the walk, not just talk the talk." I know how to raise GLP-1 naturally. I look forward to meeting with you soon.

You should not have to take a website's word for it.
That means more time to listen, room for the whole story, and care that gets to the root cause instead of short visits on a packed schedule.

Step 1
We begin with your symptoms, history, prior testing, treatments, medications, supplements, lifestyle, and goals.
Step 2
When needed, I'll recommend targeted testing to close gaps and explain what we're looking for and why.
Step 3
Your care plan may include prescriptions, supplements, lifestyle changes, and other interventions.
Step 4
I'll monitor your progress and how you're feeling, then we'll refine your plan as your goals and needs evolve, building on what works.

Yes. I bill your insurance for you, so there's no claim for you to file. Lab testing and medications are billed to your insurance separately, and you'll always know the price before anything is ordered. Not insured? Reach out for cash pay rates.
Yes. I manage the root-cause work and your ongoing plan, and I coordinate with your PCP rather than replacing them.
Yes. I prescribe, monitor, and adjust medication as part of your plan.
No. If medication is right for you, it is prescribed and billed separately, and your care team goes over the cost with you before you start.
At a draw site near you. We send the order to a national lab with locations almost everywhere, you pick the one that's most convenient, and we review the results together.
Most patients have their first lab review within a few weeks of starting. Timelines vary, which is the point of an ongoing plan: it gets adjusted based on how you respond, not on a fixed schedule.
Yes, any time. Discounts are available if you want to commit to a longer term. Ask about them on your complimentary 15-minute call.
Care is 100% telehealth across Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah, and Washington, with next-day telemedicine when you need it. Labs are drawn near you and we review them together.
To join the Vye Health network, providers must meet these requirements, among others:
Deep experience
They trained at established institutions and have years of practice behind them.
Clinically proven protocols
They treat from published clinical evidence rather than from whatever is trending.
Verified online reviews
Patients they've already treated vouch for them in their reviews.
Specialty certifications
They hold certifications beyond the baseline and keep training in the areas they treat.
Every provider on Vye Health is evaluated on an ongoing basis, so the care patients get stays consistent.
Vye gives independent providers a model built around fewer patients, longer visits and meaningful care between appointments.
